Enhancing the Wealth Management Experience for Family Offices
Trexin lift-and-shifted a fintech platform into AWS and made it U.S. production-ready in four weeks, giving a VC group a wealth-management product it fully owned, and a first-mover advantage.
Challenge
Our Client, a VC team focused on seed- and early-stage fintech, saw a gap: few modern digital platforms for wealth management tailored to U.S. family offices of ultra-high-net-worth families. They acquired an unrestricted copy of a codebase from a non-U.S. wealth-management firm and asked Trexin to “lift and shift” it into a public cloud under their control and reconfigure it for production, fast.
Approach
We worked an iterative, checkpoint-driven plan against an aggressive four-week target. Milestone one, a preliminary lift and shift: discovery and code read-in, an AWS environment (networking, IAM, runtime, database, storage, CI with repeatable deploy scripts), U.S. readiness with Plaid banking integration in a sandbox, and stabilization with smoke tests, logging, and a deploy/rollback runbook. Milestone two shifted to production readiness, must-have functional enhancements and validation of performance and scalability.
Outcome
We delivered in four weeks: a working, U.S. production-ready environment the Client fully owned and controlled, ready to demo end-to-end family-office wealth-management flows. The result was faster U.S. market entry, reduced technical uncertainty, and a foundation that supported investor, client, and partner confidence.
Why Trexin
Speed without control is a trap. We got them to market fast and in command of their own platform.
